Introduction: As a result of increased incidence of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in young athletes, there is a rise in the indications surgical ACL reconstruction procedures. The value of anterolateral ligament (ALL) reconstruction emerges as a proposed solution to prevent graft failures and improve stability in this high demanding category of patients. The purpose of this study is to present our experience with a novel hamstring auto-grafting technique, the single antegrade sling graft (SASG), for combined reconstruction of both ACL and ALL using autologous gracilis (GR) and semitendinosus (ST) grafts utilizing a single femoral tunnel and double tibial tunnels.

This study on the Type-I heavy-tailed Rayleigh (TI-HTR) distribution is a special case of Type-I heavy-tailed (TI-HT) family of distributions was studied. The characteristics were derived, including the moment and its measures, quantile function, reliability measures, and other statistical properties as well as parameter estimation using the maximum likelihood method and penalized likelihood estimation. The behavior of its various functions were shown graphically.

MRI provides excellent soft tissue contrast but lacks the direct electron density data needed to calculate dosage. CT, on the other hand, remains the gold standard due to its accurate electron density information in radiation therapy planning (RTP) but it exposes patients to ionizing radiation.

The goal of this study is to investigate the application of fractional-order calculus in modeling arterial compliance in human vascular aging. A novel fractional-order modified arterial Windkessel model that incorporates a fractional-order capacitor (FOC) element is proposed to capture the complex and frequency-dependent properties of arterial compliance. The model's performance is evaluated by verifying it using data collected from three different human subjects, with a specific focus on aortic pressure and flow rates.
