Impact of dental fluorosis on the oral health-related quality of life: a systematic review.

Objective: The aim of this systematic review is to investigate the literature to assess the effect of dental fluorosis on the Oral Health-Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL).

Materials And Methods: Included studies were epidemiological investigations, clinical trials, or human studies that directly compared the impact on OHRQoL between individuals with dental fluorosis and those without, utilizing valid OHRQoL assessment tools. The searches were conducted up to March 2024 in databases, including PubMed, Scielo, LILACS, Scopus, Web of Science, Embase, and the Virtual Health Library.

Determining the widths of the maxillary anterior teeth for esthetics: comparison of the Mondelli and Albers formulas, esthetic proportion, and golden ratio.

The purpose of this study was to compare various formulas for idealized proportions of the maxillary incisors to the actual dimensions of natural teeth. The Mondelli formula 1 (MF1), Mondelli formula 2 (MF2), Albers formula (AF), esthetic proportion (EP) for width and height of anterior teeth, and golden ratio (GR) were calculated for a total of 50 dental students (30 women and 20 men) who participated in the study.
