Objective: To determine the impact of hysterectomy without bilateral oophorectomy on the physical, psychological, and cognitive health of postmenopausal women.

Methods: This study was a sub-analysis of a cross-sectional, observational study carried out during gynecological consultations in nine Latin American countries. We collected sociodemographic and clinical data and evaluated the women's health using the EQ-5D for health status, the Menopause Rating Scale for menopausal symptoms, the 6-item Female Sexual Function Index for sexual function, the Jenkins Sleep Scale for sleep disturbances, the SARC-F for the risk of sarcopenia, and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment test for cognitive function.

Importance: Immunotherapies are the preferred frontline treatment for most hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs), but only a small subset of patients attain complete responses to immunotherapies, resulting in an absence of radiographic apparent disease. The clinical importance of these complete responses is unclear, and whether clinical or molecular features may define HCCs that are exquisitely sensitive to immunotherapies is ambiguous.

Objective: To describe the long-term survival outcomes of complete responders to immunotherapies, and to examine whether clinical and genomic characteristics are associated with complete response.

Background And Objectives: The "Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD) Focused Administrative Supplements for National Institutes of Health (NIH) Grants that are not Focused on Alzheimer's Disease (AD Supplements to Non-AD awards)" program provides funded investigators from scientific areas other than AD/ADRD with administrative supplements to parent NIH grant awards to expand their current work into AD/ADRD.

Research Design And Methods: This analysis reviewed awardees of the supplement from fiscal years (FY) 2018 to 2022 using data obtained from NIH's internal grants administration data. The goal was to identify awardees who were new to the field (NTF) of AD/ADRD and assess outcome measures of success (subsequent applications, awards, and publications).

The analysis of STRs located on the X chromosome has been one of the strategies used to address complex kinship cases. Its usefulness is, however, limited by the low availability of population haplotype frequency data and lack of knowledge on the probability of mutations. Due to the large amount of data required to obtain reliable estimates, it is important to investigate the possibility of grouping data from populations with similar profiles when calculating these parameters.
