Background: Epidemiological studies on multisystem atrophy (MSA) are scarce. Our aim has been to analyse 10-year incidence, point prevalence, survival, and the time to diagnosis of MSA in Navarre, a northern Spanish region.
Methods: This is a population-based observational retrospective study, from 2012 to 2021, which covered the population of Navarre (followed until 31 December 2021).

Aims: Astrocytic tau pathology is a major feature of tauopathies and ageing-related tau astrogliopathy (ARTAG). The substantia nigra (SN) is one of the important degenerative areas in tauopathies with parkinsonism. Nigral tau pathology is usually reported as neuronal predominant with less prominent astrocytic involvement.

Measurement of residual gene expression of nuclear factor of activated T cell (NFAT)-regulated genes (NFAT-RGE) has been proposed as a pharmacodynamic biomarker to assess the degree of immunosuppression in certain solid organ transplantations, but little is known regarding lung transplant recipients (LTR). Our primary objective is to correlate tacrolimus blood levels with NFAT-RGE.
