A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Death Anxiety Among Iranian Patients With Cancer.

Death anxiety in cancer patients can cause and exacerbate mental disorders and affect the healing process and survival. In this study, percentage score of death anxiety among Iranian cancer patients was reported. The databases of Scopus, PubMed, ISI, MagIran, and Scientific Information Database were searched and 396 articles were retrieved.

Serum hepcidin measurements in healthy dogs using liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry.

Background: Hepcidin is a key regulator of iron homeostasis. The measurement of this hormone is essential for the diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia and might be useful as a prognostic factor in many diseases. Serum hepcidin levels have been infrequently evaluated in dogs.

Prevalence of Impacted Molar Teeth among Saudi Population in Asir Region, Saudi Arabia - A Retrospective Study of 3 Years.

Aim: To report the prevalence of impacted third molars according to the age, gender and type among Saudi population.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study involved 3800 panoramic radiographs of subjects aged 18 to 45 years who presented to the College of Dentistry, King Khalid University, Abha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for oral care during the period from February 2009 to February 2011. Data collected was entered into a spreadsheet (Excel 2000; Microsoft, US) and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 16.

Mycetoma revisited. Incidence of various radiographic signs.

Objective: To define and quantitate various radiographic signs of mycetoma infection.

Methods: A retrospective study of 516 randomly selected patients seen between December 1996 and December 2004 at the Mycetoma Research Centre of Khartoum University, Khartoum, Sudan. All cases were confirmed by clinical examination, initial pretreatment radiographs, and histopathology.
