The family of radical-cation salts β''-(BEDT-TTF)[(A)M(CO)]·guest (M = Fe, Cr, Ga, Al, Co, Mn, Rh, Ru; A = K, HO, NH ) has produced superconductors, metals, semiconductors, and metal-insulators through introduction of different guest molecules into the structure. We present three new additions to the family β''-(BEDT-TTF)[(A)Cr(CO)]·guest with the guest molecules toluene, phenol, or salicylaldehyde. These new guests are liquid or solid additives within the electrocrystallisation medium.

Some progress is being made on incorporating physical activity into routine care, but less on engaging health system leaders in the 'whole systems' approaches which are increasingly recognised as important for addressing complex public health challenges such as physical inactivity. This commentary builds upon the findings of a recent study and aims to identify opportunities for engaging National Health Service (NHS) systems leaders in whole systems approaches to physical activity.

Chirality is induced in the structure via the use of a chiral spiroboronate anion where three stereocentres are present, one on each chiral ligand and one on the boron centre. Despite starting from a labile racemic mixture of BS and BR enantiomers, only one enantiomer is present in the crystal lattice.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Healthcare professionals are key informants to support individual behaviour change, and although there has been some progress in empowering clinicians to promote physical activity and health at work, an effective strategy overarching the whole medical educational journey is still lacking. This report provides an overview from the Moving Healthcare Professionals programme (MHPP), a whole-system educational approach to embed prevention and physical activity promotion into clinical practice.
Methods: The MHPP model integrates educational resources into three core domains of medical education: undergraduate education, postgraduate education and continuing professional development.
