Objectives: To describe the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) of patients in a prospective 12-month observational cohort study of new bladder cancer diagnoses and compare with national cancer and general population surveys.

Patients And Methods: A prospective UK study in patients with new bladder cancer diagnoses at 13 NHS Trusts. The HRQoL data were collected at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.

The natural history of low-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer: a collaborative multi-centre study.

Background: International guidelines vary in terms of their definition and recommendation for management of low-risk non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (LRNMIBC). The ideal management for this large subset of bladder cancer patient remains unclear.

Radical Cystectomy Against Intravesical BCG for High-Risk High-Grade Nonmuscle Invasive Bladder Cancer: Results From the Randomized Controlled BRAVO-Feasibility Study.

Purpose: High-grade nonmuscle invasive bladder cancer (HRNMIBC) is a heterogeneous disease. Treatments include intravesical maintenance (mBCG) and radical cystectomy (RC). We wanted to understand whether a randomized trial comparing these options was possible.

Radical cystectomy in the elderly - Is this a safe treatment option?

Objective: To determine if significant differences exist in the perioperative outcomes of patients aged >75 years treated with radical cystectomy (RC) compared to younger patients, as RC is frequently not offered to 'elderly' patients with bladder cancer because of supposed increased risks of complications.

Patients And Methods: We retrospectively analysed prospectively collected data of all patients that underwent RC in our centre from May 2013 to June 2015. In all, 81 consecutive RCs were identified and included in our study.
