This review intends to gather literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms and role of T follicular helper cells (Tfh) in the interaction with germinal centers (GCs) in Myasthenia Gravis (MG) disease regarding new developments focusing on Tfh as a therapeutic target and its key regulator B cell lymphoma 6 (Bcl6). Tfh cells are CD4+ T cells specialized in providing signals for the activation and maturation of B cells plus the formation and maintenance of GCs; the role of Bcl6 stands as the key transcriptional factor for the survival of GCs and promotion of Tfh generation. Previous studies have demonstrated gene therapy to be beneficial by achieving re-establishment of "immune homeostasis" and amelioration of the proinflammatory process.

Distinguishing between primary (PID) and secondary (SID) immunodeficiencies, particularly in relation to hematological B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders (B-CLPD), poses a major clinical challenge. We aimed to analyze and define the clinical and laboratory variables in SID patients associated with B-CLPD, identifying overlaps with late-onset PIDs, which could potentially improve diagnostic precision and prognostic assessment. We studied 37 clinical/laboratory variables in 151 SID patients with B-CLPD.

Bismuth sulfide (BiS) nanostructures have gained significant attention in the fields of catalysis, optoelectronics, and biomedicine due to their unique physicochemical properties. This paper introduces a simple and cost-effective method for producing BiS microstructures at low temperatures (25 and 70 °C). These microstructures are formed by the hierarchical self-assembly of BiS nanoparticles, which are typically 15-40 nm in size.

This work describes the spray pyrolysis deposition of PbSe films, using as-prepared PbSe colloids as the starting solution. The PbSe colloids were prepared by using the alkahest approach, where Pb and Se precursors were made to react with the following green polyols: glycerin, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol, to subsequently spray them onto glass substrates. The results of the characterization indicated that amine or thiol groups-free and single-phase rock-salt cubic PbSe powder was obtained, producing nanocrystals 16-30 nm in size.

Over the last few years, several exciting changes in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) technology have expanded its use and made CGM the standard of care for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes using insulin therapy. Consequently, hospitals started to notice increased use of these devices in their hospitalized patients. Furthermore during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID) pandemic, there was a critical need for innovative approaches to glycemic monitoring, and several hospitals started to implement CGM protocols in their daily practice.
