Objectives: Women who report sex with women are thought to have lower risk for Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infection than women who report sex with men only (WSM-only), but comparisons of lifetime burden are limited.
Methods: Among 1,418 sexually-experienced women aged 18-39 years participating in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2013-2016), we estimated weighted CT seroprevalence and Wald-based 95% confidence intervals (CI) in women who reported ever having sex with a woman (all reported having sex with men also) (WSWM) compared to WSM-only. We defined seropositivity as detection of Pgp3 antibodies and used stratified Poisson regression with robust standard errors to estimate prevalence ratios.
Iron(IV)-oxo intermediates found in iron enzymes and artificial catalysts are competent for H atom abstraction in catalytic cycles. For = 2 intermediates, both axial and equatorial approaches are well-established. The mechanism for = 1 sites is not as well understood: an equatorial approach is more energetically favorable, and an axial approach requires crossing from the = 1 to the = 2 surface.

- A study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of three methods—IgG serum antibodies, electronic health records (EHR), and self-report—in measuring past Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infections among 122 men who have sex with men (MSM) in King County, WA.
- Results showed that while only 41.5% of those with IgG antibodies had a recorded CT diagnosis in EHRs, a much higher percentage (74.4%) self-reported a history of the infection.
- The findings suggest that using self-reporting alongside IgG serum testing may prove to be a more reliable indicator of past CT infections, particularly in areas lacking comprehensive EHR systems.
