Objective: To evaluate an efficiency of TMJ open disc repositioning surgery with use of bone anchors.

Material And Methods: TMJ open disc repositioning surgery was indicated for patients with TMJ anterior disc displacement without reduction and skeletal class II or asymmetric forms of dysgnathia related to condyle resorption. Surgery was performed on 9 patients divided into two groups: the first one (5 patients) consisted of patients that were seeking help for bite problems, the second one (4 patients) consisted of patients with signs of TMJD, such as decreased mouth opening and pain in TMJ area.

Ejaculatory disorders are one of the most frequent sexual dysfunction. To study this problem in different climatic regions, we made a population-based trial with participation of 543 Russian men (149 from the south of Russia, 394 from Siberia). Correlation of ejaculatory disorders with IELT duration, a testosterone level, comorbid chronic prostatitis was estimated.

The paper presents experimental findings of the kinetics of current and voltage of a self-contained electric stimulator (SCES) of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) with 12X18H9 stainless steel electrodes in 1% HCI solution (which mimics gastric juice). The structure and parameters of a dynamic SCES model are electrochemically considered. The model adequately describes experimental findings and may be used to generate capacity and Faraday components in the electrostimulation current at the electrode-electrolyte borders in order to evaluate the delivery of trace elements, which are deficient in the body, from the SCES electrodes into GIT on electrostimulation.

The paper outlines a distributed self-contained gastrointestinal electrostimulator model that considers current distribution in the electrolytic environment and electrochemical polarization inhomogeneity over the surface of cap electrodes. The model is satisfactory in describing the experimental data obtained for electrodes made of the stainless steel 12X18H9 in 1% hydrochloric acid solution (that mimics gastric acid) and may be useful in evaluating the performance of and in optimizing the self-contained electrostimulator with the electrodes covered by different materials.

Reproductive potency of Pinus silvestris was studied in 1986, and 1987 within the zone of Chernobyl accident by the estimates of the survival rate of seed-buds during the gametophyte and embryonal development. At the radiation level of 4 Gy a partial female pine sterility was manifested by the decreased gametophyte survival rate of seedbuds, pollinated in 1986, and by the diminished embryonal survival rate of seed-buds pollinated in 1985.
