Protein homeostasis relies on the accurate translation and folding of newly synthesized proteins. Eukaryotic elongation factor 2 (eEF2) promotes GTP-dependent translocation of the ribosome during translation. eEF2 folding was recently shown to be dependent on Hsp90 as well as the cochaperones Hgh1, Cns1, and Cpr7.

This research introduces a method to attract undergraduate students from various backgrounds to the field of microsurgery through a hands-on microsurgical training course.
Methods: Microsurgical training took place 6 hours a week for 6 weeks.
Quasi-periodic eruptions (QPEs) are luminous bursts of soft X-rays from the nuclei of galaxies, repeating on timescales of hours to weeks. The mechanism behind these rare systems is uncertain, but most theories involve accretion disks around supermassive black holes (SMBHs) undergoing instabilities or interacting with a stellar object in a close orbit. It has been suggested that this disk could be created when the SMBH disrupts a passing star, implying that many QPEs should be preceded by observable tidal disruption events (TDEs).

To explore synergism at the gene-regulatory level, we investigated the dynamics of transcription and chromatin signaling in response to dual cytokines by integrating nascent RNA imaging mass spectrometry, RNA sequencing, amplification-independent mRNA quantification, assay for transposase-accessible chromatin using sequencing (ATAC-seq), and transcription factor profiling. Costimulation with interferon-gamma (IFNγ) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) synergistically induced a small subset of genes, including the chemokines , -, and -.

The strategy capitalized on the clatherin-mediated internalization of PSMA to facilitate the selective uptake and release of doxorubicin in the target cells. The SMDC was prepared and assessed for binding kinetics, plasma stability, cell toxicity, and specificity towards PSMA expressing prostate cancer cell lines.
