Article Synopsis
  • The study examined clinical and neurophysiological traits in children aged 8 to 10 with low cognitive tempo (NCT) and investigated the effectiveness of the drug Pantogam in treating this condition.
  • Researchers divided 90 children into three groups: 30 with NCT, 30 with ADHD (ADHD-K), and 30 without neuropsychiatric disorders, using various assessments including EEG and behavioral scales to measure attention and anxiety levels.
  • Findings revealed that children with NCT exhibited more severe attention issues and higher anxiety levels compared to their ADHD counterparts, alongside distinct neurophysiological patterns indicating decreased cortical arousal.
