The Transcriptional Enhanced Associated Domain (TEAD) family of transcription factors are key components of the Hippo signalling family which play a crucial role in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. The identification of inhibitors of the TEAD transcription factors are an attractive strategy for the development of novel anticancer therapies. A HTS campaign identified hit 1, which was optimised using structure-based drug design, to deliver potent TEAD1 selective inhibitors with both a reversible and covalent mode of inhibition.

Inpatient internal medicine (IM) residents spend most of their time on indirect patient care activities such as clinical documentation. We developed optimized electronic health record (EHR) templates for IM resident admission and progress notes, with the objective to reduce note-writing time, shorten note length, and decrease the percentage of progress note text that was copy-forwarded from prior notes. In 2022, a multidisciplinary team created, over an 8-month period, optimized EHR templates for IM resident admission and progress notes.

Hand function is important in every aspect of our lives. Across a wide range of neuromuscular disorders-inherited ataxias, motor neuron diseases, polyneuropathies, and myopathies-people can experience losses in hand strength, tone, movement, dexterity, joint range, and sensation. Such changes can adversely affect function and independence in daily activities, reducing participation and quality of life.

Introduction: Familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) is an autosomal dominant inherited disorder of lipid metabolism and a preventable cause of premature cardiovascular disease. Background: The purpose of our study is to assess the methodology of overlapping systematic reviews related to cemented vs uncemented hip hemiarthroplasties for the treatment of femoral neck fractures to find the study with the best evidence. Also, we assess the gaps in methodology and information to help with direction of future studies.

Methods: A systematic search was conducted in September 2022 using Pubmed, Embase, and Cochrane Library.
