The CEL-HYB1 hybrid allele of the carboxyl ester lipase (CEL) gene and its pseudogene (CELP) has been associated with chronic pancreatitis (CP). Recent work indicated that amino acid positions 488 and 548 in CEL-HYB1 determined pathogenicity. Haplotype Thr488-Ile548 was associated with CP while haplotypes Thr488-Thr548 and Ile488-Thr548 were benign.

Objective: In the CBT model of anorexia nervosa, emaciation is assumed to occur because individuals over-value their weight and shape. However, current BMI (for adolescents, BMI z-score) may be relevant to psychopathology beyond its relation with weight concern. We explored the relations between BMI/z-BMI and attempts to change one's eating and/or weight (restraint and eating concern) before and after controlling for weight concern among individuals with AN or atypical AN (AAN).

Purpose: MET amplification (amp) is a driver of acquired resistance to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) antibodies in patients with RAS wild-type (WT) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Savolitinib is an oral small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that has demonstrated anti-tumor activity in MET-driven advanced solid tumors. We report the results of a phase 2 study of savolitinib in patients with mCRC with MET amp detected by circulating cell free (cf)DNA.
