The search for long-lived quantum memories, which can be efficiently interfaced with flying qubits, is longstanding. One possible solution is to use the electron spin of a color center in diamond to mediate interaction between a long-lived nuclear spin and a photon. Realizing this in a nanodiamond furthermore facilitates the integration into photonic devices and enables the realization of hybrid quantum systems with access to quantum memories.

However, increasing mechanical recycling may have unintended negative consequences. For example, recycling of PVC flooring containing hazardous plasticizers that were used in the past may lead to continued exposure.

Therefore, this study was conducted to evaluate the clinical and radiological outcome of a cementless short stem in elderly patients (≥ 75 years) compared to a young control group (≤ 60 years).
Methods: A retrospective cohort of 316 THAs performed between 2014 and 2017 was prospectively examined.
Purpose: Initially, prostate cancer responds to hormone therapy, but eventually resistance develops. Beta emitter-based prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radionuclide therapy is approved for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. Here we introduce a targeted alpha therapy (TAT) consisting of the PSMA antibody pelgifatamab covalently linked to a macropa chelator and labeled with actinium-225 and compare its efficacy and tolerability with other TATs.
