Post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC) syndrome is considered an emergent and diffuse multidisciplinary problem. Compelling evidence suggests that COVID-19 increases symptoms of pre-existent small fiber neuropathy (SFN) and might trigger de novo onset of SFN. In this systematic review, for the first time, we provide a comprehensive overview of the clinical and diagnostic features of PASC-SFN, including the accompanying disorders, disease evolution, and possible treatments, described in the recent literature.

While several high-grade and sarcomatoid MTSCC tumors have been reported, the clinical experience with contemporary immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) combination therapies extrapolated from treatment paradigms of conventional renal cell carcinoma (RCC) remains limited. Here, we report two patients with metastatic MTSCC treated with first-line ipilimumab plus nivolumab therapy who both achieved great clinical benefit.

Methods: The PAD-related risk of CVE between SEV vs BEV was investigated using data from the HOSTILE Registry, an observational study including 1707 patients with severe PAD undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) via different access routes. The relative risk of CVE with SEV vs BEV in patients without PAD was investigated in a meta-analysis of randomized controlled transfemoral access (TFA)-TAVR trials of patients with normal femoral arteries.
