Background: While total mesorectal excision is the gold standard for rectal cancer, the optimal surgical approach to achieve adequate oncological outcomes remains controversial. This network meta-analysis aims to compare the histopathological outcomes of robotic (R-RR), transanal (Ta-RR), laparoscopic (L-RR), and open (O-RR) resections for rectal cancer.
Materials And Methods: MEDLINE, Embase, and the Cochrane Library were screened from inception to June 2024.
Introduction: Zirconia (ZrO) is highly regarded in dental restoration due to its aesthetic compatibility and mechanical properties that align with biological tissues. This study explores the effects of stabilized ZrO2 on endothelial cell function and extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, processes critical to successful osseointegration in dental implants.
Methodology: Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs) were cultured in ZrO -enriched medium under both static and shear stress conditions.
Both periodontal diseases (PDs) and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) are highly prevalent disorders with global impact, associated with a large burden at individual patient and health system levels. These disorders often co-exist, but there is growing evidence that the association between the disorders goes beyond an overlap between two highly prevalent diseases that have shared risk factors. Evidence suggests a potential causal relationship, although further research is required to verify this.

Objectives: Little is known about oral hygiene habits of patients suffering from chronic diseases. This study aims to describe oral hygiene behavior (OHB) in terms of tooth brushing and professional scaling frequency among patients with chronic diseases. Secondarily, it aims to assess the association between OHB and periodontitis, tooth loss, and oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL).
