This review investigated the effects of hypersensitivity treatment on molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) using laser therapy, combined or in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities. The review was conducted according to the PICOS strategy (Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome) and was performed in March 2024 using the Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus and Embase. The RoB 2 tool was employed to evaluate the risk of bias.

Context And Aims: This study evaluated the effect of calcium silicate and sodium phosphate (CSSP) dentifrice and serum on the surface of enamel bleached with hydrogen peroxide (HO).

Materials And Methods: A total of 160 bovine enamel slabs were bleached with 35% HO and treated with sodium fluoride (NaF) dentifrice-GI, CSSP dentifrice-GII; CSSP dentifrice + CSSP serum-GIII, or NaF dentifrice + NaF gel-GIV. The dentifrices were applied using a brushing machine three times daily for 7 days.

The application of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) to acupuncture points may produce effects similar to that of needle stimulation in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). This systematic review was conducted according to the Cochrane Collaboration guidelines and aimed to address clinical questions using the following strategy: Patient/Problem, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcome (PICO). A comprehensive literature search was performed upto April 26, 2023, across nine electronic databases (BVS, PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), and Google Scholar) supplemented with gray literature.

Facial filling is widespread in society, albeit associated with inherent risks. This review analyzes clinical studies using laser therapy for filler complications to assess its safety and efficacy as an alternative treatment. A literature search was conducted up until April 2023, encompassing five different databases: PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web of Science, and Medline, to find clinical trials addressing patients who underwent laser treatment for adverse reactions to injectable facial filling.
