From Cullowhee Creek to Conley: genome sequence and annotation of a cluster DJ phage.

We report the discovery of phage Conley, a siphovirus isolated from Cullowhee Creek in the Fall of 2022. The 60,078bp genome contains 90 predicted protein-coding genes all transcribed in the same direction and has been assigned to genetic cluster DJ based on gene content similarity.

Indandione VKAs have been widely used for decades, especially in Eastern Europe and France. Contrary to coumarin VKAs, the relative contribution of individual factors to the indandione-VKA response is poorly known. In the present multicentre study, we sought to develop and validate a model including genetic and non-genetic factors to predict the daily fluindione dose requirement in elderly patients in whom VKA dosing is challenging.
