Cerium oxide NPs (-CeO), with notable performance in various biological tests like redox activity, free radical scavenging, and biofilm inhibition, emerge as significant candidates to address issues in related areas. In this research, copper-decorated -CeO (Cu@-CeO) were first synthesized and then characterized using advanced techniques such as SEM-EDX, XRD, XPS, BET, and ICP-OES. The biochemical properties of the obtained Cu@-CeO nanostructure and its performance in polyethersulfone (PES) membranes were thoroughly investigated in this research study.

Introduction And Objectives: Tissue attenuation reduces the specificity of the myocardial perfusion imaging single photon emission tomography (SPECT), which leads reduced diagnostic accuracy. The aim of this study is to compare performances of non-attenuation corrected (NAC), computed tomography based-attenuation corrected (AC) and prone images for qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis of myocardial perfusion SPECT in diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD).

Materials And Methods: Eightysix patients in whom NAC, AC and prone images were obtained with SPECT at Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine, and whose coronary angiography/CT coronary angiography was completed within 3 months, were retrospectively studied.

Background: In this study, field and greenhouse experiments were done with spray application of the insecticides acetamiprid, indoxacarb, deltamethrin, λ-cyhalothrin, spinosad, chlorantraniliprole on pepper and tomato plants. Results were interpreted with numerical modeling.

Results: Observed fruit concentration dynamics could be described overall well by modeling.

This study investigates the flexural behavior of 3D-printed multi-topology lattice beams, with a specific emphasis on octet and cube lattice geometries created through fused deposition modeling (FDM). The mechanical properties of these beams were evaluated through quasi-static three-point bending tests. A comparative analysis of load-carrying capacity, energy absorption, and specific energy absorption (SEA) indicates that octet lattice beams exhibit superior performance to cube lattice beams.

Background: This study investigated the risk of frailty in older adults with differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) and the effect of thyroid- stimulating hormone (TSH) levels on frailty.

Methods: This single-center, cross-sectional study included 70 DTC patients aged ≥60 years with stable TSH levels during the previous year while receiving levothyroxine. Frailty was assessed using the fried frailty phenotype (FFP).
