In this paper, a signal conditioner intended for use in variable impedance sensors is presented. First, an inductive linear displacement sensor design is described, and the signal conditioner discrete realization is presented. Second, based on this system's requirements, the integrated conditioner is proposed.

Increased interest in the development and integration of navigation and positioning services into a wide range of receivers makes them susceptible to a variety of security attacks such as Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) jamming and spoofing attacks. The availability of low-cost devices including software-defined radios (SDRs) provides a wide accessibility of affordable platforms that can be used to perform these attacks. Early detection of jamming and spoofing interferences is essential for mitigation and avoidance of service degradation.

Antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) is a process through which myeloid cells are able to exert their phagocytic function after recognition of opsonized bacteria, viruses, infected cells or any cells targeted by a specific antibody. ADCP of tumor cells represents a potent effector mechanism of monoclonal antibody therapy mediated by tumor associated macrophages (TAM) and other phagocytic cells as an in situ anti-tumor activity. Here we described a protocol based on flow cytometry and immunofluorescence assays enabling extensive comparative studies to address whether a monoclonal antibody engaging Fcγ receptors on macrophages can mediate in vitro ADCP of tumor cells.

Background: Despite calls for greater emphasis on tobacco supply reduction strategies, limited evidence of interventions (regulatory and non-regulatory) to reduce tobacco retailer numbers exists. This study investigated the feasibility of a real-world, non-regulatory intervention to encourage low volume tobacco retailers to stop selling, in a jurisdiction with a tobacco retailer licensing system.

Intervention: Between December 2018 and 2019, low volume tobacco retailers (n=164) were exposed to multiple intervention elements (eg, postcard and letter mail-out, onsite visit) focused on the business benefits of stopping selling, in the lead up to their tobacco licence expiry date.
