The dissemination of biomedical research data beyond academia remains limited. In response, funding agencies now regularly require that the projects they fund make research data openly available for reuse. This emerging open data movement aims to democratize data access, often guided by the FAIR data technical standards, requiring that data should be findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable.

Time-resolved extreme ultraviolet spectroscopy was used to investigate photodissociation within the iodobenzene C-band. The carbon-iodine bond of iodobenzene was photolyzed at 200 nm, and the ensuing dynamics were probed at 10.3 nm (120 eV) over a 4 ps range.

Centering intersectional breast cancer screening experiences among black, Latina, and white women: a qualitative analysis.

Objective: Mammography screening guidelines in the United States highlight the importance of informing and involving women when making their breast cancer screening decisions. However, the complexity of interpreting and applying these population-level guidelines can contribute to patient burden. Patient-centered communication strategies can alleviate patient burden, but few consider perspectives from racially and ethnically marginalized populations.

Objectives: Adults with behavioral health needs exhibit elevated tobacco use rates. Tobacco-free workplace policies (TFWPs) at behavioral health treatment centers can effectively curb clients' tobacco use and secondhand smoke/vape exposure. However, there is little extant observational research about how total versus partial workplace tobacco use bans are associated with employee's perceptions of signage clarity, consistency of enforcement, and stakeholders' policy awareness in behavioral health centers.

Selective ion transport through hydrated micropores in polymer membranes.

Ion-conducting polymer membranes are essential in many separation processes and electrochemical devices, including electrodialysis, redox flow batteries, fuel cells and electrolysers. Controlling ion transport and selectivity in these membranes largely hinges on the manipulation of pore size. Although membrane pore structures can be designed in the dry state, they are redefined upon hydration owing to swelling in electrolyte solutions.
