Background And Objective: Adult patients with early-treated phenylketonuria (AwET-PKU) may present some subtle neurocognitive deficits. The aim of the study was to investigate 1) neurocognitive functions in a large group of AwET-PKU 2) the influence of plasma phenylalanine (Phe).
Methods: Participants: 187 AwET-PKU (classic PKU [cPKU] 81%, mild PKU [mPKU] 14%, and mild persistent hyperphenylalaninemia [MPH] 5%).

Objective: Normal aging often leads to cognitive decline, and oldest old people, over 80 years old, have a 15% risk of developing neurodegenerative diseases. Therefore, it is important to have appropriate tools to assess cognitive function in old age. The study aimed to provide new norms for neuropsychological tests used to evaluate the cognitive abilities in people aged 80 years and older in France, focusing on the impact of education and gender differences.

In one dimension, the KPZ equation is exactly solvable and its statistical properties are known to an exquisite degree. Yet recent numerical simulations in the tensionless (or inviscid) limit of the KPZ equation [C.
