Characterization of shared neoantigens landscape in Mismatch Repair Deficient Endometrial Cancer.

Endometrial cancer (EC) with Mismatch Repair deficiency (MMRd) is characterized by the accumulation of insertions/deletions at microsatellite sites. These mutations lead to the synthesis of frameshift peptides (FSPs) that represent tumor-specific neoantigens (nAg) proved to be shared across patients/tumors with MMRd. In this study, we explored the feasibility of a nAg-based cancer vaccination design in EC with MMRd.

Explainable brain age prediction: a comparative evaluation of morphometric and deep learning pipelines.

Brain age, a biomarker reflecting brain health relative to chronological age, is increasingly used in neuroimaging to detect early signs of neurodegenerative diseases and support personalized treatment plans. Two primary approaches for brain age prediction have emerged: morphometric feature extraction from MRI scans and deep learning (DL) applied to raw MRI data. However, a systematic comparison of these methods regarding performance, interpretability, and clinical utility has been limited.

Long-term results of edge-to-edge and neochordal mitral repair for isolated anterior leaflet lesion: a propensity match analysis.

Objectives: Mitral regurgitation due to anterior mitral leaflet lesions is associated with an increased risk of mitral regurgitation recurrence after mitral valve repair compared with posterior leaflet-related lesions. Both edge-to-edge (E-to-E) and neochordal repair, associated with ring annuloplasty, have been used in our institution to address isolated anterior mitral leaflet lesions. The aim of this study was to compare the clinical and echocardiographic long-term results of those two approaches for isolated anterior mitral leaflet lesions by means of a propensity match analysis.
