Background: Recent results from the Dutch NELSON study have rekindled debates about the benefit-to-harm ratio of lung cancer screening and the comprehension of this by physicians.

Methods: This research surveyed the perception and understanding of 136 Austrian physicians regarding the advantages and risks of lung cancer screening, examining the impact of educational data visualization tools, including fact box and icon array. Physicians participated in an online survey about their understanding before and after exposure to either a fact box alone or combined with an icon array.

Background: There is conflicting evidence on impulsivity and its potential relationship with inhibitory control in schizophrenia. This study therefore aimed to identify differences in impulsivity and cognitive and motor inhibition between patients with deficit (DS) and non-deficit (NDS) schizophrenia and healthy controls (HC). We also explored the relationships between impulsivity and different dimensions of inhibitory control in all studied groups.

Background: This article reports the Polish adaptation of the Questionnaire to Assess Affective and Cognitive Empathy (QAACE) by Zoll and Enz - a multidimensional self-report questionnaire used to measure empathy in children aged 8-14. The QAACE is based on a two-factor cognitive-emotional model of empathy. It has a number of international adaptations and offers a convenient Polish-language tool for use with young children and adolescents.
