The excretion of gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase (GGTP) in 240 hour urine was studied in 21 patients treated with gentamicin for bronchopneumonia. The treatment was conducted for a period of 8-10 days using gentamicin in a dose of 2-5 mg/kg body weight daily. The studies of GGTP urine excretion were carried out on the first and the last day of the treatment, and on the 10th day after completion of treatment.
