The planar anodic AlO-ZrO nanocomposite capacitor dielectrics for advanced passive device integration.

The need for integrated passive devices (IPDs) emerges from the increasing consumer demand for electronic product miniaturization. Metal-insulator-metal (MIM) capacitors are vital components of IPD systems. Developing new materials and technologies is essential for advancing capacitor characteristics and co-integrating with other electronic passives.

A study of changes in the heat capacity of carbon nanotube-based ionanofluids prepared from a series of imidazolium ionic liquids.

Ionanofluids (INFs), nanoparticles dispersed into a base fluid, an ionic liquid, are a novel class of alternative heat transfer fluids. Addition of nanoparticles to a base ionic liquid is the prime reason for an enhancement in the thermophysical properties of ionanofluids. However, due to very limited research on ionanofluids, further studies are required to understand changes in the isobaric heat capacity of ionanofluids as a function of size of cations of the base ionic liquid structure and concentration of nanoparticles.

Generational differences in selected aspects of social situation and health status of foreigners living in the Czech Republic.

Objectives: Demographic differentiation caused by the history of migration in the Czech and Slovak Republics led the authors of this article to analyse generational differences in the groups of foreigners living in the Czech Republic (CR) and the impact of generational differences on selected aspects of their social situation and perceived health. The crucial research question was whether and to what degree do different generations of foreigners vary from each other and what impact this has had on their social situation and health determinants.

Methods: The main goal was to examine mutual relationships between selected characteristics of social situation and health determinants in various groups of foreigners living in the CR.

Management of patient with breast carcinoma diagnosed during pregnancy.

Objective: To present actual complex review of diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer during pregnancy, demonstrated on particular case report.

Design: Case report and review article.

Setting: University Hospital Královské Vinohrady, Prague Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology.

Highlights from the Faraday Discussion on Ionic Liquids: From Fundamental Properties to Practical Applications, Cambridge, UK, September 2017.

For the third time, a Faraday Discussion addressed ionic liquids. Encompassing the wealth of research in this field, the contributions ranged from fundamental insights to the diverse applications of ionic liquids. Lively discussions initiated in the lecture hall and during poster sessions then seamlessly continued during the social program.
