Posteromedial elbow dislocation with lateral humeral condyle fracture in children: How to manage? Case report and review of the literature.

Posteromedial dislocation of the elbow is a rare entity even exceptional if associated with a lateral condylar fracture. Very few isolated cases are reported in the English literature. We report an additional case of a 14-year-old child admitted for elbow trauma during scholar sport and presented a posteromedial elbow dislocation associated with a fracture of the lateral humeral condyle.

Although tuberculosis is a widespread disease in Morocco, musculoskeletal form is relatively rare and even rarer when affects the sacroiliac joint. Tuberculous sacroiliitis remains a challenge for orthopedists owing to its insidious onset and non-specific clinical presentation. Herein, we report the case of a 23-year-old male with a growing mass in his left gluteal area, diagnosed with tuberculous sacroiliitis, based on bacteriological and histological findings.

Coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus involving only the capitellum or the trochlea are rare injuries Their combination has rarely been described. Herein, we report the case of a 39-year-old man who presented with pain and total functional impotence in his right elbow following a fall; the clinical and radiological findings revealed a new entity in the coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus, which included a comminuted fracture of the capitellar and displaced separate trochlea in the same elbow. This fracture was treated surgically with a good outcome at the last follow-up.
