Comparison of long-term anti-RBD SARS-CoV-2 antibody response following different vaccination schemes in Tunisia.

Aim: The study aimed to compare long-term vaccine-induced humoral immunity following different vaccines regimens.

Methods: Anti-S-RBD total antibody levels were measured in blood samples of 167 participants nearly 6 months post-vaccination. Participants had received one; two or four doses of Pfizer vaccine or who received a third dose of mRNA vaccine (Pfizer) and primed with mRNA (Pfizer/Moderna), adenoviral (AstraZeneca/Jonson & Jonson) or inactivated (CoronaVac/Sinopharm) vaccine.

Recurrent paratesticular liposarcoma: a case report.

Introduction And Importance: Paratesticular liposarcoma (PTL) is a rare condition, with fewer than 200 cases reported worldwide. It is a malignant tumor that originates from fat tissue with high risk of recurrence. Herein, the authors present a contralateral recurrence of a treated PTL.

Fournier's gangrene revealing an acute arterial occlusion: A case report.

Introduction And Importance: Fournier gangrene (FG) is a rare form of necrotizing fasciitis that affects both the deep and superficial layers of the perineal genital region. When left untreated, Fournier gangrene can rapidly advance, leading to substantial morbidity and mortality. Herein, we present a case of Fournier's gangrene, which revealed acute arterial occlusion.

Evaluation of individual and combined NLR, LMR and CLR ratio for prognosis disease severity and outcomes in patients with COVID-19.

Object: The study aimed to utilize the peripheral blood immunological parameters and resulting individual and combined inflammatory indices [neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR), lymphocyte/monocyte ratio (LMR) and C-reactive protein/lymphocyte ratio (CLR)] in predicting the prognosis and mortality in COVID-19 patients.

Materials And Methods: The measurements of individual and combined inflammatory indices (NLR, LMR and CLR) were performed at hospital admission and at last day of hospitalization for COVID-19 patients.

Results: Prominent elevation of NLR and CLR among patients with refractory disease admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and deceased patients was found when compared with moderate ill patients and healthy controls.

Penile hair coil strangulation in a 9-year-old patient: Surgical management and review of the literature.

Introduction: Strangulation of the penis is a rare situation that requires urgent treatment for penile decompression. The complications could range from simple edema to severe ones such as urethrocutaneous fistula, complete urethral transection, penile gangrene and penile amputation. This work has been reported in line with the SCARE criteria.
