Objective: Compare three ventilatory strategies during the immediate postoperative transfer of cardiac surgical patient.

Study Design: Prospective, comparative and observational study.

Patients And Methods: After approval by our local ethical committee, 330 patients undergoing on-pump cardiac surgery were consecutively included.
