Background: Considering the few studies on the effect of bleaching protocols on the color properties of a newly developed monochromatic universal composite resin, the present study evaluated the effect of different bleaching protocols on the color change and translucency of Omnichroma (OMN) composite resin.

Methods: In this laboratory study, 45 cylindrical OMN composite resin disks with a diameter of 10 mm and a thickness of 2 mm were used. The samples were randomly divided into three groups (n=15) based on the bleaching protocols: group 1: 40% hydrogen peroxide (HP) for 20 minutes, twice a day for three sessions one week apart; group 2: 20% carbamide peroxide (CP) for 8 hours a day, for 14 consecutive days; group 3: 40% HP with Nd:YAG laser (HP+Nd:YAG laser) applied on the gel for 30 seconds twice.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to assess the impact of preheating on the microhardness and flexural strength of bulk-fill resin composites.

Materials And Methods: In this in vitro study, forty-two specimens were prepared of each composite, X-tra fil and Opus Bulk Fill, resulting in 84 disk-shaped specimens for microhardness testing and 84 bar-shaped specimens for flexural strength analysis. The specimens were divided into four groups as follows: Group 1: X-tra fil composite with preheating (at 68°C for 15 minutes), group 2: X-tra fil composite without preheating (at room temperature), group 3: Opus Bulk Fill composite with the same preheating method, group 4: Opus Bulk Fill composite without preheating.

The goal of this investigation was to see how a dentin pretreatment with 5% DMSO affected the microtensile bond strength (μTBS) of universal adhesives. In terms of adhesive kind and etching procedure, 32 healthy third human molars were randomly separated into eight groups. Three universal adhesives with etch-and-rinse and self-etch strategies (G-Premio Bond: GPB.

Sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors such as Empagliflozin, are increasingly recommended as part of guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) for heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) in many developed nations. This recommendation is based on robust clinical evidence showing that adding Empagliflozin to GDMT improves heart failure symptoms, clinical outcomes, functional status, and overall quality of life. In Malaysia, where healthcare is predominantly public and heavily subsidized, the introduction of new treatments can significantly impact costs, requiring detailed economic assessments.

Cancer patients often grapple with substantial out-of-pocket (OOP) expenses and productivity loss, with the ramifications being particularly crucial for lower-income households. This study aims to estimate OOP costs incurred by cancer patients, assess their productivity loss, and analyse the financial coping mechanisms employed by individuals within the lower-income bracket. The study employed face-to-face interviews among cancer patients aged 40 years and above, currently undergoing treatment, and belonging to the lower-income group.
