Background: Despite being the most common cause of dementia worldwide, the mechanisms underlying the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD) are not clear and effective treatments are still needed. Hence, further investigation regarding the pathogenesis of AD is required, which might allow for a better understanding of the disease, as well as for an early diagnosis of AD, thus improving the clinical management of AD patients. Here, to identify key proteins in AD pathogenesis, we performed two proteomics strategies, TMT (Tandem Mass Tags) 10-plex quantitative proteomics and LFQ (Label Free Quantification).

Impact of body composition and muscle health phenotypes on survival outcomes in colorectal cancer: a multicenter cohort.

Body composition abnormalities are prognostic markers in several types of cancer, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Using our data distribution on body composition assessments and classifications could improve clinical evaluations and support population-specific opportune interventions. This study aimed to evaluate the distribution of body composition from computed tomography and assess the associations with overall survival among patients with CRC.

Generational diversity in nursing practice environments - scoping review.

Introduction: Generational diversity in nursing has introduced new challenges, for nurse managers and practice environments, in addressing both the nurses' and clients' needs and organizations' social and health policies. The organizational climate encourages professionals to preserve positive practice environments, which promotes a healthy coexistence between generations, respecting their distinctive characteristics and values, with the essential purpose of ensuring the team's effectiveness and the organization's success.

Objective: To map the available scientific evidence on the generational diversity of nurses in professional practice environments.
