The whole world has lived in fear of the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) for more than one-fourth of a year in 2020. Since then, numerous studies have been done and others are still being conducted to identify the coronavirus causal agent and determine the ideal antiviral therapies for treating this illness. Despite the fact of significant global efforts, which are being made to develop vaccines and identify therapeutic medicines, the emergence of multiple variants has rumbled the research for developing an ideal diagnostic and therapeutic tool for targeting COVID-19.

The synthesis of composites was done by the wet processing method. The large surface area of NDs facilitated the robust interaction between the hydroxyl group and macromolecular chains of PVA to enhance the hydrogen bonding of PVA with NDs rather than PVA molecules.

The development of novel efficient antimicrobial agents to combat bacterial infections has become a global issue. Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) appeared as a feasible alternative to antibiotics.

The current study investigates the carotenoids potential on inhibition of secondary complications induced by NSAIDs, aspirin (ASA) against lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulated inflammation. Initially, this study evaluated a minimal cytotoxic dose of ASA and carotenoids (-carotene, BC/lutein, LUT/astaxanthin, AST/fucoxanthin FUCO) in Raw 264.

Oral microbial ecosystems are vital in maintaining the health of the oral cavity and the entire body. Oral microbiota is associated with the progression of oral diseases such as dental caries, periodontal diseases, head and neck cancer, and several systemic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, adverse pregnancy outcomes, diabetes, lung infection, colorectal cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Buccal mucosa, tongue dorsum, hard palate, saliva, palatine tonsils, throat, keratinized gingiva, supra-gingival plaque, subgingival plaque, dentures, and lips are microbial habitats of the oral cavity.
