In this research was light up the high clinical effectivity of the diltiazem in patient with arterial hypertension, connected with ischemic heart disease. Monotherapy with the diltiazem had not influenced on the contractive quality of the left ventricle. Therapy with the diltiazem considerably improve the diastolic function of the left ventricle and approach it to the standard.

This research highlights high clinical affectivity of Amlodipine in patients with essential hypertension complicated by ishemic heart disease. Monotherapy with Amlodipine doesn't deteriorate contractive quality of the left ventricle. Therapy with Amlodipine considerably improves the diastolic function of the left ventricle and adjusts it.
