Nowadays, control is pervasive in vehicles, and a full and accurate knowledge of vehicle states is crucial to guarantee safety levels and support the development of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADASs). In this scenario, real-time monitoring of the vehicle sideslip angle becomes fundamental, and various virtual sensing techniques based on both vehicle dynamics models and data-driven methods are widely presented in the literature. Given the need for on-board embedded device solutions in autonomous vehicles, it is mandatory to find the correct balance between estimation accuracy and the computational burden required.

Background & Aims: The pathophysiology of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is multifactorial and includes epithelial barrier dysfunction, a key element at the interface between the gut lumen and the deeper intestinal layers. Beneath the epithelial barrier there is the vascular one representing the last barrier to avoid luminal antigen dissemination The aims of this study were to correlate morpho-functional aspects of epithelial and vascular barriers with symptom perception in IBS.

Methods: Seventy-eight healthy subjects (controls) and 223 patients with IBS were enrolled in the study and phenotyped according to validated questionnaires.

Background And Objective: Several randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have shown that benralizumab is characterized by a good profile of efficacy and safety, thereby being potentially able to elicit clinical remission on-treatment of severe eosinophilic asthma (SEA). The main goal of this multicentre observational study was to verify the effectiveness of benralizumab in inducing a sustained remission on-treatment of SEA in patients with or without comorbid chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP).

Methods: Throughout 2 years of treatment with benralizumab, a four-component evaluation of sustained remission of SEA was performed, including the assessment of SEA exacerbations, use of oral corticosteroids (OCSs), symptom control and lung function.

Purpose: DNA methylation profiling stratifies isocitrate dehydrogenase (IDH)-mutant astrocytomas into methylation low- and high-grade groups. We investigated the utility of the T2-fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (T2-FLAIR) mismatch sign for predicting DNA methylation grade and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A/B (CDKN2A/B) homozygous deletion, a molecular biomarker for grade 4 IDH-mutant astrocytomas, according to the 2021 World Health Organization classification.

Experimental Design: Preoperative MRI scans of IDH-mutant astrocytomas subclassified by DNA methylation profiling (n = 71) were independently evaluated by two radiologists for the T2-FLAIR mismatch sign.
