Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the phytochemical and the long-term anti-neuropathic potentials of cultivated in the University botanical garden, and explore its most bioactive compounds and their underlying mechanisms of action.

The present study aimed to explore the analgesic activity of dried ethanolic extract of (PLE) using tail flick, hot plate, and acetic acid induced writhing models in mice. The involvement of opioid receptors in the analgesic mechanism was investigated using naloxone antagonism.
