DPN is characterized by marked inflammation, and the fibrinogen-to-albumin ratio (FAR) is one of the new markers for systemic inflammation, it has been used in various diabetic micro- and macro-vascular complications. Materials And Methods: This was non-randomised before and after study - A quality improvement project involving three plan-do-study-act (PDSA) cycles each of 6 weeks duration. The study included a total of 60 patients and their caregivers admitted to the Internal Medicine Unit in a tertiary care hospital in South India.
