Synthesis, antimicrobial evaluation, ADMET prediction, molecular docking and dynamics studies of pyridine and thiophene moiety-containing chalcones.

In this study, three pyridine- and four thiophene-containing chalcone derivatives were synthesized via Claisen-Schmidt condensation reaction, where five derivatives were new. Different spectral analyses (IR, H NMR, HRMS) clarified the structures and these proposed compounds were screened for antimicrobial activity by the agar disc diffusion technique. Compound was conspicuously active against most of the bacterial and fungal strains.

Nephrotoxic effect of cypermethrin ameliorated by nanocurcumin through antioxidative mechanism.

Cypermethrin is a pyrethroid showing nephrotoxicity by generating ROS-impaired oxidative stress and changes in inflammatory and apoptotic markers. The harmful consequences are intended to be mitigated by the imbalance between oxidants and antioxidants. The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant possessions of nanocurcumin (NC) with improved bioavailability ameliorate Cyp toxicity in rat kidneys.

Formulation and validation of mathematical model for co-sputtering conditions to attain stoichiometric CZTS films: Expedience of using all metal sulfide targets.

A soda lime glass substrate is used for fabricating CuZnSnS (CZTS) thin films using copper (II) sulfide (CuS), zinc sulfide (ZnS), and tin sulfide (SnS) targets using an advanced co-sputtering deposition process. Following that, the films are annealed at 470 °C without sulfur (S). An algorithm based on the deposition rate of the previously specified targets set the co-sputtering condition, which maintains a deposition pressure of 5, 10, 15, and 20 mTorr.

Estrogen-mediated modulation of sterile inflammatory markers and baroreflex sensitivity in ovariectomized female Wistar rats.

Objective: This study aims to explore the role of estrogen in providing cardioprotective benefits to premenopausal women, examining how hormonal differences between sexes influence the prevalence of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in women.

Materials And Methods: Eighteen female Wistar rats were equally distributed into three treatment groups. Animals in Group I (sham-operated) and Group II (ovariectomized [OVX]) received oral saline solution at a dose of 2 mL/kg.

Prevalence and level of stress among final-year students at a health science institute in Bangladesh.

Background: Final-year students studying in various health science institutes are usually very stressed about their studies so that they can complete their studies without any hurdles. This stress can lead to poor academic and professional results because psychological issues such as anxiety and depression are frequently overlooked and not treated. This study aimed to measure the prevalence of stress and also assess the level of stress symptoms among the final year students of health science institute in Bangladesh.
