Right ventricular injury (RVI) in respiratory failure receiving veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV ECMO) is associated with significant mortality. A scoping review is necessary to map the current literature and guide future research regarding the definition and management of RVI in patients receiving VV ECMO. We searched for relevant publications on RVI in patients receiving VV ECMO in Medline, EMBASE, and Web of Science.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFIdeological religious nationalism (IRN) is a worldview that advocates the integration of religious beliefs with national policy and laws and the religious moralization of politics. Here, we offer guidelines for neurological care (neurological monitoring and management) of adults during and after ECMO support.
Methods: These guidelines are based on clinical practice consensus recommendations and scientific statements.
Objectives: The objective of this study was to assess the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, after 2 years, on mammographic screening in Brazil evaluating BIRADS® results, breast cancer diagnosis rates, and breast cancer stage.
Study Design: This was an ecological observational study based on retrospective data from Brazil's mammographic screening program from 2015 to 2023.
Methods: Data were obtained from the national screening database DATASUS - SISCAN (Cancer System Information) and retrieved in March 2024.
