Background: Over the season, competitive swimmers experience a progressive imbalance in rotator cuff strength, predisposing them to a significant risk factor for a swimmer's shoulder injury.
Objectives: Verify the effectiveness of two 12-week preventive programs on the shoulder rotators' peak torque and conventional/functional ratios.
Design: A care provider- and participant-blinded, parallel, randomized controlled trial with three groups.
Retinitis pigmentosa is a genetically heterogeneous retinal degeneration process. There is hardly any treatment available. It is associated with extensive chronic inflammation and the release of proinflammatory cytokines such as TNFα.

Over 300 compounds, including frequently overlooked highly polar and nonpharmaceutical CECs, were identified. Monitoring programs mainly focus on reducing variability and assessing pollution in wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) effluents under dry weather conditions, often neglecting wet-weather discharges.

Despite an increasing interest for parsimony-oriented innovation, sustainable shape-changing materials based on renewable resources remain underexplored. In this work, the architecture of a single plant fiber cell wall (S, for instance) is simplified to design novel concepts of 4D printed tubular moisture-driven structural actuators, using the hygromorphic properties of continuous flax fiber (cFF) reinforced materials.
