Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) imposes a substantial economic and clinical burden, particularly in developing countries like Iran. This study aimed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of anticoagulation options for non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) in Iran.
Methods: We conducted a cost-effectiveness analysis comparing warfarin, apixaban, dabigatran 110 mg, dabigatran 150 mg, and rivaroxaban for NVAF patients from the Iranian payer's perspective.

Background: Behavioral Diseases Counseling Centers (BDCCs) and Vulnerable Women's Counseling Centers (VWCCs) in Iran are the main peripheral centers that offer educational, counseling, diagnostic, preventive, curative and protective services to individuals living with or at high risk of contracting HIV/AIDS and female sex workers respectively. Due to the social stigma surrounding HIV in Iran, this study aims to identify the factors that may hinder or encourage HIV/AIDS patients and women with risky sexual behaviors from visiting these centers.
Methods: Conducted in 2023, this qualitative study involved individuals visiting BDCCs and VWCCs in two western provinces of Iran, Ilam and Kermanshah.

Hence, it is significantly crucial to develop and apply highly effective and safe caesarean section techniques. In this review study, we aimed at assessing the safety and effectiveness of the Joel-Cohen-based technique and comparing the results with the transverse Pfannenstiel incision for C-section.
