Numerous conduits have been developed to improve peripheral nerve regeneration. However, challenges remain, including remote control of conduit function, and programmed cell behaviors like orientation. We synthesized FeO-MnO@Zirconium-based Metal-organic frameworks@Retinoic acid (FMZMR) core-shell and assessed their impact on Schwann cell function and behavior within conduits made from decellularized human umbilical arteries (DHUCA) under magnetic field (MF).

Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) enables non-invasive investigation of microstructural white matter alterations, while serum neurofilament light chain (NFL) holds promise as a fluid biomarker of axonal injury.
Objectives: To use DTI and serum NFL measurements to evaluate white matter pathology in patients with MS and explore the relationship between in vivo imaging and biochemical indicators of axonal damage.
Empathy, the ability to comprehend and share others' emotional states, impacts brain functions. This in vivo electrophysiological study explored the influence of chronic empathic stress on synaptic efficacy, as well as short-term and long-term plasticity at the Schaffer collateral/Commissural - CA1 synapses in the dorsal hippocampus of rats, in situations of social equality and inequality. Forty-eight male rats were randomized into six groups: control, pseudo-observer, pseudo-demonstrator, observer, demonstrator, and co-demonstrator (Co, Pse-Ob, Pse-De, Ob, De, Co-De) groups.

Crocin, a natural carotenoid in the stigma of saffron, possesses radical scavenging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-apoptotic properties. This study investigates the protective impact of crocin on neuronal apoptosis, oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and memory deficits induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in rats.

The portfolio Moderate-carbohydrate diet (PMCD) is a plant-based diet with a carbohydrate content of 40% and incorporates five cholesterol-lowering foods. While, the ketogenic diet is a high-fat diet with 70% fat, promoting a ketosis state.
