Nine cases of hydatid disease are presented. CAT scans were done in each case. Radioisotope and ultrasound scans were also carried out in appropriate cases.

Bilateral coeliac plexus block with alcohol gave effective pain relief to the three patients with pancreatic carcinoma and the one patient with acute pancreatitis. View Article and Find Full Text PDFFor the first time, to our knowledge, a patient with a functioning pheochromocytoma was subjected to gel foam embolization for physiologic destruction of the tumor. The operation, 24 hours later, provided an uneventful anatomic removal of the infarcted tumor. Observation was considered as a possible alternative to surgical excision.
