HYALURONIDASE OINTMENT IN TREATMENT OF HYPERTROPHIC SCARS.

We have studied efficiency of hyaluronidase ointment created on the base of microbial hyaluronidase preparation "Bilidase" in treatment of postoperative hypertrophic scars. A total number of 14 patients with postoperative hypertrophic scars on different part of face were enrolled in the study. All patients were treated with hyaluronidase ointment by help of iontophoresis for 10 days -1 procedure per day and than retreated 1 time with the same regimen at 4-week interval.

[Effects of bacteriophages on biofilm formation by strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa].

The effects of two Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteriophages, vB-Pa 4 and vB-Pa 5, on the formation and development of biofilms of six polyresistant hospital strains of P. aeruginosa have been investigated. Pretreatment of bacteriophages prevented the formation or almost completely prevented the growth of adequate biofilms.

[Investigation of metabolic paramagnetic centers in the blood of patients with prostate adenocarcinoma prior to and after the plastic orchectomy].

Paramagnetic centers in the blood of patients with prostate adenocarcinoma have been studied prior to and after plastic orchectomy by EPR. It has been shown that significant alterations in blood paramagnetic centers occur after the surgery. These alterations point to an improvement of antioxidant properties of the blood.

Characteristics of morphological change in erythrocytes during metaststic adenocarcinoma of the prostate before and after castration.

The objective of our study was to establish whether there is a direct link between displayed changes in Erythrocytes and hormonal shifts talking place in organism. For the experimental research we used a blood serum and erythrocytes of 15 men with metastasized adenocarcinoma before castration and a blood serum and erythrocytes of 15 men in 6 months after castration, also a blood serum and erythrocytes of practically healthy men. Age of patients varied from 60-75 years.

Erythrocyte membrane permeability in the men with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the prostate.

The aim of our study was to investigate the alterations of the erythrocyte membrane permeability in the men with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the prostate before and six months after castration. For experimental research were used the erythrocytes of 15 men with metastatic prostate cancer (Pca) (before and after 6 months from castration) and of the 15 practically healthy men (control group). The patients age was vacillate from 60 to 75 years old.
