Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) represent severe complications in diabetic patients, often leading to chronic infections and potentially resulting in nontraumatic lower-limb amputations. The increasing incidence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria in DFUs complicates treatment strategies and worsens patient prognosis. Among these pathogens, carbapenemase-producing pathogens have emerged as particularly concerning owing to their resistance to β-lactam antibiotics, including carbapenems.

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) results from median nerve compression and may lead to significant pain. Surgical management through release is the gold standard approach for severe CTS patients. Gabapentin is used as an analgesic drug, but data on its postoperative effects on pain assessment and safety measures are unclear.

Spontaneous, non-traumatic bleeding into the subcapsular and perirenal space is a rare and potentially fatal condition known as Wunderlich syndrome (WS). It has a variety of causes including the usage of anticoagulation. Many anticoagulants including warfarin can interact with other medication and lead to potentially fatal complications, Herein, we report a case of a 47 year old female on warfarin who developed subcapsular renal hematoma and retroperitoneal hematoma after the completion of ciprofloxacin treatment course.

ModeHunter is a modular Python software package for the simulation of 3D biophysical motion across spatial resolution scales using modal analysis of elastic networks. It has been curated from our in-house Python scripts over the last 15 years, with a focus on detecting similarities of elastic motion between atomic structures, coarse-grained graphs, and volumetric data obtained from biophysical or biomedical imaging origins, such as electron microscopy or tomography. With ModeHunter, normal modes of biophysical motion can be analyzed with various static visualization techniques or brought to life by dynamics animation in terms of single or multimode trajectories or decoy ensembles.

Background: In Egypt, approximately 10% of preterm deliveries occur between 32 and fewer than 37 weeks, leading to high neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) admissions. Preterm infants often face oral feeding difficulties due to immature development, which can lead to extended hospital stays and increased health risks.

Aim: To assess neonatal nurses' performance in terms of the transition to oral feeding in preterm infants, focusing on knowledge, practices, and attitudes.
