Pilot therapeutic education program in multiple system atrophy: Safety, quality of life and satisfaction from a national registry based longitudinal study.

Background: Therapeutic education programs are effective in several chronic conditions. However, evidence is lacking in multiple system atrophy (MSA). We aimed to assess efficacy and safety of a comprehensive therapeutic education program in people with MSA (PwMSA) and their caregivers.

Background: Critically ill patients with COVID-19 are an especially susceptible population to develop post-intensive care syndrome (PICS) due to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Patients can suffer acute severe pain and may have long-term mental, cognitive, and functional health deterioration after discharge. However, few controlled trials are evaluating interventions for the prevention and treatment of PICS.

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine whether there are any differences in the dream content in different sleep disorders and to describe their characteristics.

Patients And Methods: We studied four sleep disorders: sleep apnoea and hypopnoea syndrome (SAHS), primary insomnia (PI), idiopathic REM sleep behaviour disorder (IRBD) and narcolepsy type I. Each patient was asked to keep a dream diary for two weeks.
