Background: Supernumerary teeth, defined as extra teeth beyond the normal series of dentition, can appear anywhere in the dental arch. They may present as solitary or multiple, unilateral or bilateral, and can be either erupted or impacted. Rarely, supernumerary teeth are found in ectopic locations outside the dental arches, such as the nasal cavity, inferior nasal conchae, maxillary sinus, ethmoid sinus, or skull.

This study estimated Medicare graduate medical education (GME) reimbursement that sole community hospitals (SCHs) and Medicare-dependent hospitals (MDHs) are disqualified from receiving compared with hospitals under the Prospective Payment System (PPS) and calculated the GME reimbursement per resident for MDHs and SCHs under different scenarios.
Method: This simulation study used Healthcare Cost Report Information System data on hospitals that had been SCHs or MDHs between 2011 and 2021 and did not have any resident full-time equivalents (FTEs) in the most recent year.

We report a case of a 15-year-old male with a soft palate schwannoma who was successfully treated by surgical excision and had no complications over a one-year follow-up. View Article and Find Full Text PDFHydride abstraction from the borane adduct, (BICAAC) ⋅ BH afforded the hydride bridged dinuclear borenium ion equivalent complexes 1 and 2 that have been characterized by various spectroscopic and spectrometric techniques followed by the assessment of Lewis acidity using the Gutmann-Beckett method. The single crystal X-ray structure of complex 2 revealed the presence of discrete ions in the solid state. The complex (BICAAC) ⋅ BH(OTf) (3), obtained from the reaction of (BICAAC) ⋅ BH with MeOTf, formed the corresponding boronium cations [(BICAAC) ⋅ BH(L)](OTf) on reaction with Lewis bases (L= pyridine (4) and DMAP (5)).
