In this study, we developed active bio-composite films using a sodium alginate/starch (1:1) matrix incorporating date seed extract encapsulated mesoporous silica (DSE@MCM-41) up to 7.5 wt%. Incorporating DSE@MCM-41 significantly improved the films' properties, enhancing antioxidant efficacy and UV-blocking capabilities.

The elimination of AMX requires advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) that utilize high-performance photocatalysts. Furthermore, the design of highly visible light photocatalysts for AOPs demands both cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
