Calvarial lymphoma is radiologically similar in many respects to meningiomas, solid fibrous tumours, osteomyelitis, and metastatic carcinomas. Even though it is an extremely rare phenomenon, the initial suspicion and detection of calvarial lymphoma are paramount to establishing a correct diagnosis which helps to determine an appropriate management strategy. We present an illustrative rare case of primary calvarial lymphoma along with a literature review focusing on the best management strategy for this rare entity.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focused on human bocavirus infections, which can range from mild symptoms to severe respiratory issues, and often co-occur with other viruses.
  • Researchers reviewed medical records of 157 children, finding that common symptoms included cough, runny nose, and fever, with bocavirus detected in about 12.66% of cases.
  • The analysis highlighted age and radiograph differences between bocavirus-infected and non-infected groups, suggesting that patients with multiple viral infections experienced more severe symptoms, which could inform future clinical practices.
