The Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation provides non-clinical social support for adults living with a diagnosed mental illness or self-reported mental ill-health (referred to as 'members'). The Stepping Stone Clubhouse in Brisbane, Australia was evaluated between August 2022 and August 2023 using a participatory action research approach. This paper aims to investigate mental health clinicians' perspectives of reasons behind the high and increasing rates of involuntary psychiatric treatment in Queensland.
Method: Qualitative methodology was used to explore clinician perspectives by facilitating two face-to-face focus groups.
Purpose: Community-based residential mental health rehabilitation units for people experiencing severe and persistent mental illness are increasingly available in Australia. Research completed 20 years ago suggested that people leaving these services often experienced impoverished social lives and other challenges in the community. It is unclear whether contemporary consumers experience similar difficulties.

Here we show that cell-intrinsic innate immune signaling driven by miR-146a deletion (miR-146a), a commonly deleted gene in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML), cooperates with mutant RUNX1 (RUNX1) to initially induce marrow failure and features of MDS.

However, these models vary greatly, and little is known about how the design and implementation of these programs impacts their effectiveness.
Method: This study was a qualitative, post hoc implementation determinant evaluation of mental health co-responder units in Brisbane, Australia, comprising of verbal or written interviews with police and mental health staff with an on-road role in the co-responder units, and their managers.
